How it works:
Magnets (Steps) on a special record trigger a Reed Switch, fixed on a Turntable.
On the record is an area on witch u can put magnets.
this area is made out of magnet foil. it is too weak to trigger the reed, but its good for the Stepmagnets move and fix them quickly.
the magnets stick there, but can easily be moved. those magnets trigger a reed switch, wich is fixed on the turntable.
Computer :
(by soldering a connection to the mouse click switch, using the reed instead)
MPC (jj os) :
use the reed to trigger the footswitch, wich when using jjos can be routed to the pads, in the video on the right it is routed to pad 5
-same like in the video on top
USE WITH:
Midi :
(by soldering a connection to a midi keyboard key triggering that by the reed -)
Midi :
more simple:
use an "audio to midi plug in" like "kt drumtrigger", "drumreplacer" or similar and feed those with radio noise for example wich gets to the drumtrigger, when reed switch closes.

synchronisation:
(DJ) record players are tight in keeping the tempo, so its easy to synchronize the tweakytrigger to your current project.
Most(DJ) record players (technics 1210 in this case) got two tempo modi: 33 / 45 rpm +/- pitch.
This means the "tempo" of the sequencer is
at 33rpm around 33bpm 66bpm 132bpm +/- 8% pitch and
at 45rpm around 45bpm 90bpm and 180bpm +/- 8% pitch.
(in this case a vestax pdx is great !:)
Example:
at 33rpm your bpm ranges are: 31 - 35 bpm 61 - 71 bpm 122 - 142 bpm
at 45rpm your bpm ranges are: 42 - 48 bpm 83 - 97 bpm 167 - 194 bpm
A word about asynchronisation:
this is an interesting aspect of the tweaky trigger, because you can have sounds running in slight asynchronisation,
but the loop itself is in sync.

Modular Synth :
provide trigger current and use the Reed as
on/off. Filter triggering is fun !
Good to use with the sh 101

The Grid:
For better orientation there are marks on the record wich represent the steps.
there are 16 vertical marks wich represent the "straight" steps and 12 horizontal marks wich represent shuffle steps.
at 12 o clock 3 o clock 6 oclock and 9 o clock the horizontal and vertical marks meet together.

in this case the magnetical switch closes the circuit of the flashlight when a stepmagnet passes by and makes the light blink
